FORWARDING
Forwarding = Organizing
Organizing transport as per terms and conditions of the sales contract. This would be a nice and brief description of our job. It looks a not too difficult straight forward job if you know how to handle it. The problem is that to complete one job, upto 10 different parties may be involved. It is our job and responsibility to co-ordinate between these parties, to look after it that each party gets its instructions at the right time, does its job within the limitations of the contract, and at the right or agreed price.

Export
| Outbound our organizing skills show up well because mostly the client asks for a seafreight rate from port to port, which then can result in a total concept from door to door, for which we appeal to the services of our overseas correspondents. |

Import
The economic potential of the BRICs (Brazil, Russia, India,and China) is such that they may become among the four most dominant economies by the year 2050. Since the start of these emerging markets imports are requiring more and more forwarding skills, especially with regard to customs formalities upon entering our growing EU market.
We can assist you in:
- Choice of trading term (for instance: FOB Shangai or CIF Antwerp)
- Intervention through our agents at port of departure
- Temporary or extended warehousing
- RH&D (Receipt, Handling and Dispatch)
